I’ve been a State Farm agent since 1997. I started with the company in 1991 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Now I’m proud to serve the residents of Sallisaw and the surrounding areas of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. My agency handles everything from homeowners and renters insurance to auto insurance, life insurance, business insurance and more—including financial services.

Every day we get an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers. With decades of experience, I have valuable information to offer, and my dedicated team of professionals share a passion for helping people manage everyday risks, plan for the future, and protect the things that matter most. We have earned a tremendous amount of goodwill among our friends and neighbors, and we’re proud of our reputation for honesty and outstanding customer service. And when the unexpected happens, we’re ready to do everything possible to help you recover quickly.

As a native of Sallisaw, there aren’t too many people who know the territory better than I do. I'm a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in business administration. I’m married with three grown children, and especially proud of our first grandson born in 2023! In our free time I enjoy watching movies, attending sport events, and searching for great barbecue and steaks. When circumstances allow, we love to visit our children and our one grandchild, who live in Texas, Oklahoma, and Virginia

I also enjoy finding ways to make a positive impact in the community, as the people who live here know well. I served as Mayor of Sallisaw from 2002 until 2014 and as a city commissioner from 2017 to 2020. I love doing what I can to make life a little better for everyone around me.

Cheryl Vann is a third generation Black Diamond and mother of three Sallisaw High School graduates. Most exciting is being a new grandmother in 2023! She is proud of her family’s Sequoyah County roots and is an active member of the Sallisaw community. Cheryl has been licensed and working as an agent staff member since 1997. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith in 2008. Cheryl enjoys teaching her customers about insurance and how each product can fit their particular need.
